This popular Japanese Green Tea is made by blending premium Japanese Green Bancha grown in Northern Saitama Prefecture. Due to its cooler climate, Sayama tea leaves grow thicker, giving it a distinct sweet, rich flavour which is then elevated with the addition of roasted puffed brown rice.
This blend rich in antioxidants offers a well-balanced green tea, with delicious toasty, almost nutty savory flavour.
Bancha tea is low in caffeine and high in minerals, especially iron, which makes it suitable for children, vegans, and pregnant women. This tea also improves the digestive process, so is great served with or after meals.
