River Mint also known as Native or Australian Mint can be found growing along riverbanks, particularly in the Murray Darling Basin waterways. It has long been used by First Nations people as a flavoursome bushfood, but also for medicinal purposes to help relieve stomach disorders and ease symptoms and of cold and fever.
