Wild harvested and ethically sourced by an Indigenous community in the Northern Territory. The Paperbark is hand cut from the tree into sheet approximately 30cm x 35cm. It was traditionally used by First Nations people to wrap fish and meat to cook over hot coals.
How to separate: Paperbark is a natural unprocessed product and can vary in its appearance and texture. To separate individual sheets from the main piece, soak it in water for approximately 5 minutes, this will minimize tearing of the sheets. Each main sheet can be divided into at least 3 or more sheets.
Handy Hint: Place foil underneath the Paperbark and meat to help wrap into a parcel, rather than trying to secure with string. Helps retain juices and flavour whilst cooking in the oven or barbeque.
