River mint - Flakes

River Mint also known as Native or Australian Mint can be found growing along riverbanks, particularly in the Murray Darling Basin waterways. It has long been used by First Nations people as a flavoursome bushfood, but also for medicinal purposes to help relieve stomach disorders and ease symptoms and of cold and fever. The leaves add a fresh minty, menthol flavour and aroma.

Can be used in place of other types of mint. Great in most foods including lamb, chicken, salads, dressings, sauces, and desserts. Also makes for a lovely cup of herbal tea.
