Wattle Seed Roasted - Ground

Elegant Wattle seeds come from a native shrub like tree, found throughout the more arid parts of Australia. They have small yellow flowers and long pods like beans that contain these edible delights. They contain nutrients including zinc, magnesium, iron and potassium, as well as being an excellent source of protein and fibre.

Use to thicken sauces, add to casseroles, ice cream or used in baking from bread to crackers. Adds a tasty nutty flavour.  Also great as a coffee alternative, makes for a very tasty brew without the caffeine hit.
